APR complies with environmental laws and regulations related to air emissions, wastewater, and waste, and ensures proper disposal practices. Through these environmental policies and activities, all employees and stakeholders are working together toward the shared goal of preserving the planet by addressing the challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Environmental Management Activities
Energy Efficiency and Greenhouse Gas Management
APR continuously implements initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce energy consumption in order to manage energy use and greenhouse gas emissions generated during its business operations.

Eco-Friendly Logistics Operations
APR is strengthening its eco-friendly packaging practices to manage resources generated during product distribution. To continuously reduce plastic usage, we have established a packaging process that utilizes recyclable materials such as paper cushioning and recycled paper-based boxes.

Data-Driven Logistics Efficiency Optimization
APR recognizes the impact of climate change on corporate sustainability and is systematically pursuing greenhouse gas reduction. In particular, to manage carbon emissions generated during logistics and transportation, we monitor vehicle load factors and empty run rates based on transport data. We also contribute to reducing carbon emissions by improving transportation efficiency and introducing electric vehicles.
Environmental Investment
At the Pyeongtaek Campus 3, APR improved wastewater treatment facilities and expanded wastewater collection tanks to ensure stable wastewater management and compliance with water quality standards. In addition, a new waste storage facility was constructed to comply with waste management regulations, and a waste separation and disposal system was established for systematic waste management.
Response to Environmental Regulations and Environmental Education
APR continuously monitors enactments and amendments to environmental laws and regulations and operates a system to proactively assess their potential impact on business operations. In addition, APR provides regular training to employees responsible for environmental functions to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain practical competencies.
Employee Eco-Friendly Practices
Following the introduction of an in-house café at headquarters, the use of disposable cups increased, prompting APR to implement improvement initiatives for environmental protection and resource conservation. Based on internal survey results confirming employees’ willingness to use reusable tumblers, APR is encouraging voluntary participation through campaigns promoting the use of personal tumblers.
Environmental Management System
APR’s business site¹ responsible for the production of devices and other products recognizes the importance of environmental management and has obtained ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS), as part of its commitment to becoming a sustainable company.
