Product Safety Management Activities

APR manages the safety and quality of cosmetics and beauty devices throughout the entire process—from product planning to post-launch—by reflecting country-specific regulations and certification requirements. In addition, through advance reviews of hazardous substances, human application testing, scientific research and development, clean beauty initiatives, and a no-animal-testing policy (*except where animal testing is unavoidably required by national regulations), APR continues to provide safe products that consumers can use with confidence.

Compliance with Country-Specific Safety Certifications and Regulations

APR manages product safety and quality in accordance with country-specific regulations and certification standards. From the product development stage through post-launch management, APR conducts advance reviews reflecting applicable laws and regulations in each market and systematically manages approval, registration, and post-market compliance processes. In addition, APR continuously reflects regulatory changes and market requirements to maintain the safety and suitability of all global products.

Management of Hazardous Substances and Product Safety

APR manages potentially hazardous ingredients from the early stages of product development. Based on restricted substance guidelines, formulations are designed with safety considerations, and raw materials are verified for regulatory compliance according to domestic and international standards. All products undergo dermatological testing to confirm safety, and full ingredient information is disclosed to provide consumers with reliable and transparent information.

Management of Beauty Device Components and Materials

APR identifies and manages potential hazardous substances in components and materials used in beauty devices. In accordance with internal guidelines and domestic and international regulatory standards (such as RoHS), APR reviews the presence of hazardous substances and verifies safety through test reports and external evaluations. Key components are managed under separate standards to continuously maintain regulatory compliance and product safety across the entire product lifecycle. In addition, for the Booster Pro model, APR has strengthened consumer skin safety and product reliability by securing safety standards related to metal allergies.

Scientific Verification-Based Research and Development Activities

APR verifies product performance and safety based on scientific validation. APR has established the ADC (APR Device Center), a specialized technology R &D; center, to strengthen device research and development capabilities and promote the internalization of core technologies. Furthermore, the Global Skin Science Research Institute, APR’s corporate-affiliated research center, verifies the skin improvement effects and safety of cosmetics and beauty devices. Through clinical and non-clinical studies and various academic activities aimed at improving customers’ quality of life, the institute ensures objectivity and reliability. APR also conducts human application tests and various evaluations to verify product efficacy and safety, and reflects the results in product development and improvement processes to create trustworthy products through continuous testing and certification.
