Packaging Recycling Guidelines
APR uses packaging materials designed with environmental impact in mind and provides information on packaging materials and disposal methods to help consumers properly recycle packaging after product use.※ Recycling and waste separation guidelines may vary depending on the country or region.
Please Follow These 3 Steps

APR’s Efforts for Sustainable Packaging
APR continues to make efforts toward creating better products and a better environment.
Establishment of an EPR Management System
In compliance with the requirements of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system, APR systematically manages packaging material data for all products.

Introduction of Water-Separable Labels
To improve recyclability, water-separable labels that can be easily removed during the washing process are preferentially applied.

Planning of Refill Pouches
Refill pouches are introduced for selected products to help reduce plastic usage.

Use of Eco-Friendly Materials
APR minimizes environmental impact by using FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified paper and soy ink certified by the FSC.

Reduction of Packaging Material Usage
APR is building a recycling-oriented packaging system by reducing unnecessary packaging materials and using paper cushioning materials and recycled-material-based boxes.

Packaging Label Guide
We provide various types of information to support recycling and proper waste separation.
Understanding Labels
Introducing representative labels commonly displayed on packaging materials.

A mark indicating that the company contributes financially to packaging recovery and recycling systems.

A symbol indicating that the product is recyclable or contains recycled materials.

A mark indicating the use of eco-friendly printing with plant-based soy ink.

A mark indicating the use of paper sourced from responsibly managed forests in accordance with FSC standards.
Packaging Material Code Guide (EU Standard Codes)
Packaging materials can be identified and sorted using material codes standardized across the European Union.
| Code | Material | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | PET | Transparent bottles |
| 05 | PP | Refill containers |
| 21 | PAP | Corrugated paper |
| 22 | PAP | General paper |
Country-Specific Recycling Guidelines
Recycling methods and labeling requirements may vary by country.
| Italy | Packaging components must display material information and recycling instructions. |
|---|---|
| France | Sorting and recycling information must be displayed using the Triman logo. (Including the Info-Tri system) |
| Spain | Color-coded collection and separation systems are applied depending on packaging material. |
